Several students at Henderson State University from Gurdon have made the honor roll. Three have been named to the dean's list.

Those making the dean's list from Gurdon were Iris Shepard, Amy Beene and Allison White.

Making the Honor Roll from Gurdon were Becky Beene, John Bloomfield, Stephanie Cagle, Felisa Fendley, Lori Hathcoat, Teresa Jester, Erin McKay, Donald Sporer, and Melanie Wilson.

The office of Academic affairs at HSU announced that 165 collegians earned dean's list status for the fall semester, 1995.

Dr. Robert Houston, vice president of academic affairs, said that in order to qualify for the dean's list, the student had to earn a perfect 4.000 on 12 or more semester hours of course work.

Approximately 394 students made the University's honor roll for the fall term. According to Houston, students on the honor roll were required to earn a 3.500 grade point average on 12 or more semester hours.
