Men and Women's Day will be Sunday, March 8, at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Friendship Baptist Church in Curtis. Everyone is invited to attend. Special guest will be the New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon. Rev. Quinton Radford will be the speaker. Rev. Louis Jones is the pastor.

The officers and members of Mt. Cannon Baptist Church of Gurdon will celebrate their pastor, Rev. Johnny C. Harris 13th pastoral anniversary Sunday, March 8, at 3:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon will have its 50th anni-versary Sunday, March 22, Every-one is invited to attend.

Sunday, March 1, the Clayborn Chapel A.M.E. Church in Spring Hill will have a musical program. Everyone is invited to attend.

Sunday, March 8, at 3:00 p.m. Muldrew Chapel C.M.E. church will celebrate its anniversary. All churches are invited to attend. Cothran Church will be the guest church and Sis. Hubbard is the guest speaker. Charles Ward of Camden is the worship leader.

Sunday night, March 22, at 6:30 there will be a musical program at the Union Grove Baptist in Bluff City. Everyone is invited to attend.

Mrs. Helen Burton of Chicago, Ill., visited her son and daughter, Winfred and Margaret Burton, Jerine Hatley, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, Ned and Joe Welch and Hazle Welch all of Gurdon, and Mary Jane Marshall of Benton, on the weekend of February 14-17. She also visited other relatives and friends in the Gurdon area.

Mrs. Valree Smith of Chicago is here visiting her son, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Shells of Little Rock, Floyd Gatlin, Jerine Hatley, Laura Grigsby, Ned and Joe and Hazle Welch and other relatives and friends of Gurdon and Okolona and her Aunt Mary Marshall in Benton.
