Alfred C. CostonPublished Wednesday, February 25, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesAlfred C. Coston, 83, of Gurdon, died February 22, 1998, at Pineview Nursing Home in Gurdon. Mr. Coston was born October 7, 1914, in Magnet Cove, the son of the late John William and Clara Brooks Coston. He was a master pipe fitter and attended the Assembly of God Church in Arkadelphia. Survivors include his wife, Rose Bradshaw Coston; two sons, Carroll Coston of Arkadelphia and David Coston of Gurdon; one daughter, Barbara Flenniken of Fresno, Calif.; two sisters, Stella Page of Malvern and Ruth Robinson of Maumell; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Funeral services are today, Wednesday, February 25, at the the Assembly of God Church in Arkadelphia with Rev. Temon Jenkins officiating. Interment will be in South Fork Cemetery under the direction of Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.
