Golf Tourney SetPublished Wednesday, February 25, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesOuachita Baptist University golf coach David Sharp has announced a four- person scramble format golf tournament, which will benefit the OBU Tiger golf program. The 18-hole tournament will take place on Saturday, March 14, at DeGray State Park with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start. An entry fee of $35 per person includes a cart, green fee, dough-nuts, coffee and orange juice. Prizes will be awarded to winners of contests, such as closest to the hole and longest drive. The format will be a four-person team, four-person scramble. All entries must be received by March 11. For more information on the tournament or applications, golfers may contact Sharp at OBU, P.O.
