There have been several funerals since I wrote last, so Rosston sends sympathy to Mrs. Mattie Wesson's family. She was buried February 10 at Laneburg. George Jackson's wife was buried last Sunday. Bro. Petie, Lyn Dean and I attended the funeral at Union Church. Judge Mitchell, a man who Roscoe worked with at Berry Petroleum, was buried Thursday, February 11. Remember these families in your prayers.

Maxine Luck was taken to the Hope hospital last week with low sugar, but she is home and was able to be in church today.

Roscoe and I went to Prescott last Tuesday and treated Maxine Freeman to lunch at Pizza Hut. The pizza bar is really good.

Tara Carlton is our new Home Interior demonstrator. Her first party was at Sue Dixon's beautiful home on Thursday night. She had good attendance and, Sue, the refreshments were great.

There will be a party at Laura Ward's on Monday night.

Timmy Marlar has been in the hospital recently with congestive heart failure in El Dorado, but is home now and still needs our prayers. Among other guests were daughter, Amber, her two month-old daughter, their oldest grand-daughter, Christy, and 1+-year-old great granddaughter all of Florida.

Roscoe and I visited our grandson, Marty, at his beautiful new home in Texarkana on Friday. He is slowly getting it furnished with all the family's help. We had supper at the Points that night with son and daughter-in-law, Dwight and Marion. This is a new fish place out on the road to Ashdown and it was very good.

Son, Jimmy, and his wife, Booie, of Prescott had lunch with us today after church.

On Saturday we visited Bill and Pat Lusby of Camden and had a hamburger supper with them. Bill is recuperating after a bout with pneumonia in the hospital at Camden.

The youth of our church presented 'Heaven's Gates and Hell's Fire' by video at church tonight. We had a good turn-out and everyone enjoyed it.

Our church is buying new song books, so if you would like to buy one in memory of some loved one or just in honor of someone, they are $10 each. Please send you check to B.C. Dillard Rosston Baptist Church and the name you want your book in honor of. A label will be place in the front of each book.

The flu bug is still raging in and around Rosston, so remember the sick when you pray.

Kimberly Johnson of Morgan, Utah, called me this week to see if her great grandfather, James Henry Ammons, was buried in the Rosston Cemetery. She said he passed away about 1900. Her mother was Eula Brown. If you know of him please write her at 641 E. 300 N., Morgan, Utah. Her telephone number is 801-829-3184.
