For three-fourths of the game, it appeared as though Genoa's Cinderella campaign would come to an end against the Lady Jays of Nevada.

But their Fairy Godmother arrived in the final eight minutes as they posted a 52- 46 win.

Nevada opened by taking a 14-4 lead in the first quarter and held a 22-16 advantage at the half.

The Lady Jays lead was slimmer at the end of three as the Lady Dragons were fighting back, but trailed 34-32.

Genoa's girls opened up in the final period for the win.
