Pipkin Attends Air Force Basic Training

Thomas Shane Pipkin, a 1997 graduate of Prescott High School, will be leaving for the air force today (Wednesday, February 25). He will attend basic training in San Antonio, Texas, and then enroll in tech school at Wichita Falls, Texas.

He is the son of Sharon Wills of Prescott and Tommy Pipkin of Wake Village, Texas. He is the grandson of Gertie Spell.


Mr. and Mrs. Brickey Fife announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Valeria Dee, to Christopher Glen Sundberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Sundberg of Hope. The bride-elect is employed at the Clinton Birthplace Foundation and will graduate from Hope High School in May. She plans to attend beauty school in Texarkana after graduation. The prospective groom is a 1995 graduate of Hope High School and is employed by Sundberg's Garage in Hope. The wedding will be on Saturday, April 4, at 2:00 p.m., at Garrett Memorial Baptist Church in Hope. All friends and relatives are invited.
