LAST WEEK'S NEWS:

Dale, Donita, Andy and Jody Almand visited Elon Almand last week.

Louise Presson enjoyed a visited from her daughter, Shirley Brown, and Shirley's grandson, Jordan Brown, last week.

Esther Reese had a visit from her sister and brother-in-law, Bernice and Josh Reyenga, from Shreveport, La., last week. Her sister, Louise Stinnet, from Gurdon visited on Sunday and brought her a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

Mr. and Mrs. Keith Gibson of Rosston brings Wayne Gibson, his father, fish for lunch one day each week. Wayne really does enjoy the fish and the visit.

Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Buck from McCaskill visited his father, Leamon Buck, last week. They also accompanied Mr. Buck to the doctor in Texarkana on Thursday.

Mariah Burks had a visit from her son, Richard Burks, over the weekend.

Mary Etta Jackson was glad to see her husband, Freddy Jackson, for a visit.

Belvie McGuire went out for a visit with her children several times last week. On Saturday she went to Arkadelphia for lunch with her daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Johnny Reyenga.

Mr. and Mrs. Olen Loe visited Mr. and Mrs. Denton Hawley last week. They also enjoyed a visit from Beatrice Dougan.

Mr. and Mrs. Pete Escarrie from White Oak visited his mother, Cliffie Escarrie, Saturday. Tina Henderson and her daughter, Courtney, and Katie Bright also visited their grandmother and great grandmother on Sunday.

We welcome Lois Duke to our Medicare unit. Her daughter-in-law, Judy Duke, granddaughter, Lori Arnett, and great granddaughter visited her during the week.

Anthony Cummings from Texas visited his brother, Noel Cummings, last week. Mr. Cummings' daughters, Janice Wren and Peggy Harmon, also visited.

Mr. and Mrs. Otis Bradley visited Ohel Daniel on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Olen Loe also visited her last week.

Edyth Hughes has had an extended visit with her nephew from Missouri, who also has a home in Okolona.

Our residents enjoyed the services brought by Morris Baptist Church on Sunday afternoon.

I need to make a correction to last week's news. I listed Mabel Rhodes as a volunteer and it should have been Louise Rhodes. My apologies to both of these nice ladies.

We also welcome the senior ladies Sunday school class from Central Baptist Church. They are serving juice and coffee, room to room each Thursday morning and our residents really enjoy their visits.

THIS WEEK'S NEWS:

Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Denton Hawley last week was Rae Avery and son on Monday night, and Mr. and Mrs. Olen Loe on Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Thomas from California is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hess Thomas for several days.

We enjoyed the services provided by Bodcaw Baptist Church Sunday afternoon. They always have beautiful singing.
