Cecil W. SewellPublished Wednesday, March 4, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneCecil W. Sewell, 89, of Blevins died Thursday, February 26, 1998, at Columbia Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Mr. Sewell was born December 12, 1908, in Hempstead County to Samuel W. and Mary Hendrix Sewell. He was a retired security guard from Reynolds Metal Company. He was a member of Marlbrook Baptist Church near Blevins. Survivors include his wife, Zula M. Sewell of Blevins; one daughter, Ramona Jean Conner and her husband, Robert H. Conner of Olden, Texas; four grandchildren, Jerry Conner of Dallas, Texas; Bobby Conner of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Tim Conner of Mineral Wells, Texas, and Cecile Reatherford of Breckenridge, Texas; nine great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Graveside services were Saturday, February 28, at Marlbrook Cemetery near Blevins with Rev. Cathy Staton officiating.
