The Wolverettes were to have played Tuesday afternoon in the State Class AA Tournament at Drew Central near Monticello. The game was to start at 4:00, too late for any results in this week's Picayune.

Mountain View was to be Prescott's opponent in the first round.

The winner of Tuesday's game will advance to the quarter-finals round Friday, which will be played at 7:00 p.m. at Drew Central.

In the same bracket as Prescott is the number one Class AA team in the state, Farmington. Farmington will play Piggott tonight (Wednesday) at 7:00. The winner of this game will meet the winner of the Prescott-Mountain View game Friday.

Other teams in the bracket are Valley View, Lamar, Drew Central and Lonoke.

Drew Central was to play Lonoke Tuesday afternoon at 1:00, and Valley View was to play Lamar Tuesday night at 7:00. The winners of these two games will meet Thursday night at 7:00. The Thursday night winner will then play the winner of Friday night's game on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday's game will be the semi-finals. The winner Saturday will advance to the finals, which will be played the next week at Pine Bluff.

In the opposite bracket of the tourney are the Class AA teams from De Queen, which won the Regional Four Tournament Saturday, Vilonia, Trumann, Booneville, Dover, Star City, Ozarks and Highland. Teams in this bracket are thusly: De Queen-Vilonia and Trumann-Booneville in the first group and Dover-Star City and Ozarks-Highland in the other.
