Explorers Meet

Published Wednesday, March 4, 1998 in the Nevada County Picayune

The Explorers of Boy Scout Troop 80 of Prescott is a law enforcement, curricular activity.

The group meets every other Sunday from 3 to 4 p.m. at the courthouse. The supervisors are Wayne and Jacque Kisselburg.

Officers elected at the February 22 meeting were Jason Job, president; Shane Mowery, vice president; Margie Payne, secretary; Gus Kisselburg, treasurer; and James Payne, reporter.

The next meeting will be March 8. The program will be brought by Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.

Anyone interested in law enforce-ment would enjoy Explorers. The group practices field training for law enforcement. So, if anyone plans to take courses later in college in law enforcement, they would be one up on others with this training.
