Gardeners Finish ClassPublished Wednesday, March 4, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesA training class of Master Gardeners was held in Arkadelphia for participants from Pike, Nevada, Hot Springs and Clark counties. The class received 40 hours of intensive training from noted professionals in their subject areas. In return for the 40 hours of training, the new Master Gardeners will join previously certified members in working toward community beautification projects. The knowledge and skills they learned will also greatly benefit them in tackling home landscape projects. The 1998 class of Clark County Master Gardeners was composted of Dinah Arnold, William Downs, Ethel Harris, Genie McFarland, Joyce Palla, Rebecca Phillips, Judy Sligh, Cecil Sutley, Benny Tucker, Barbara Wasson and Nedra Williams.
