Pageant Is May 9Published Wednesday, March 11, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesThe sixth annual Miss Gurdon Lake Pageant will be held at the Gurdon Middle School Auditorium on Saturday, May 9. The pageant is open to children 0-21 years of age. Boys, age 0-9 may participate in the Infant Division or Tiny Mr. and Miss Gurdon Lake Division. Winners in these two divisions will be determined from the highest number of ad sales. The Pre-teen Division, Junior Division and Miss Gurdon Lake Division will be judged on poise, talent, swimwear, sportswear, dressy wear and evening wear. All participants are required to pay an entrants fee of $5. Anyone who would like to participate must fill out an application form, which is available at Clark County Youth Development center, 810 South 5th in Gurdon. A recent photo is required with the application. Black and white photos are preferable, however, color photos will be accepted.
