Thompson In Who's Who

A Gurdon resident and full time English instructor at Ouachita Technical College (OTC) in Malvern, Ronnie Thompson has been selected for the fifth edition of Who's Who Among America's Teachers 1998.

Only high school and college students who have been cited for academic excellence themselves in Who's Who Among High School Students or The National Dean's List respectively are invited to nominate one teacher from their entire academic experience.

The successful former student, who recommended Thompson, says, " He made a difference in my life."

"Mr. Thompson has worked extensively with the students to ensure that their experience here at OTC is memorable, exciting and challenging," Dr. Ken martin, president of OTC, said. "His concern and warmth when dealing with the students have always been exemplary."

Who's Who honors a select five-percent of the nation's teachers and recognizes the best educators just as the best doctors, lawyers, athletes, business people and other professionals have been honored.
