Taylor Is FinalistPublished Wednesday, March 11, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesAndy Taylor, the 18-year-old son of Mike and Pam Taylor, has met the rigorous requirement for finalist standing in the 1998 National Merit Scholarship Program, a distinction which places him in a group representing less than one percent of U.S. high school graduating seniors. Taylor is a senior at Gurdon High School, where he has attended school for two years. He serves as president of Future Business Leaders of America and Beta Club.
