IP Bonds Approved (cont)BY JOHN MILLERPublished Wednesday, March 11, 1998 in the Gurdon Times Bids for city equipment to be sold were opened. Only one was accepted. Jimmy Martin bid $385 for a one-ton truck, which was approved. Bids for lawn equipment from the cemetery department were not properly submitted. The bids had to be made on bid forms, and the bid for the lawn equipment was made on standard notebook paper and could not be accepted. Articles ? to October 2008 were contributed by GateHouse Media. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
