Rosston NewsPublished Wednesday, March 18, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneMarguerite Williams We send get well wishes to Susan Graham (sister of Tara Carlton) of Camden and Bud Freeland of Camden. Beth has had surgery since I wrote the last time. Roscoe and I went to Midland, Texas, last weekend and spent several days with Carl and Brenda Vandever. They have recently moved there and bought a house. Roscoe helped Carl with some painting and work in the house. Ginger and son Tyler got to spend 10 days with them. They returned home in Texarkana with us. Wayne and Tommie Lou Jarvis had as guest last week, their grandson, Ronnie, and his wife of Houston, Texas. This weekend their guest was Tommie Lew's sister, Daisy Methrin, of Pine Bluff. Max and Ruth Hill of Dallas, Texas, are spending this week at their vacation home here in Rosston. They had several trees blown down during our high winds and they plan to get all that cleaned up. They have converted the back porch into a room and plans are to get it paneled and carpeted while here. They were our supper guests Sunday night. My brother, Billy Schmitt, of Hope and his son, Charles, of Mountain Home were our guests Sunday afternoon. Our youth at church are getting together a cookbook and would like all church members to submit recipes. Guests in church yesterday were Ruth Hill of Dallas and last night Cynthia's mother-in-law, Mrs. Reaves, was there. We appreciate them worshiping with us. Our church still likes a little having enough money to get our new song books, so if you haven't given yet in 'memory of' or 'in honor of,' please do so soon. We will be in revival March 25-27. Bro. Ray Bowman of Bodcaw will bring the message on Wed-nesday night, Bro. Daniel Williams of Waldo will preach on Thursday night and Bro. David Cook of Union on Friday night. Please pray for us. Bro. Jerry, Dail and Marjorie Evans were to leave this morning to spend a few days with Buddy and Mary Evans who lives near Houston.
