Gertrude FaberPublished Wednesday, March 18, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesGertrude 'Trudy' Faber, 65, of Kenwood, Calif., died Sunday, March 8, 1998. Mrs. Faber was born in Whelen Springs on February 27, 1933, the daughter of Romey L. Jackson and Janie Story Jackson. She went to school in Whelen Springs and graduated from Gurdon High School. She was in the U.S. Air Force for four years, where she met and married her beloved husband, Robert Faber. She was preceded in death by her father, Romey L. Jackson, and a son, Roger Faber. Survivors include her husband, Robert Faber of Kenwood, Calif.; one daughter, Rhonda Denny of Kenwood, Calif.; one son, Robert Faber of Idaho; three grandchildren, Veronica Denny of Kenwood, Calif., and Kyle and Kevin Faber of Idaho; her mother, Janie Jackson of Camden, formerly of Gurdon and Arkadelphia; her brother, Romey L. Jackson Jr. of Hot Springs Village; and three sisters, Frances Bradshaw of Gum Springs and Leo Williams and Becky Garrett both of Camden.
