Bob Mac Tarpley

Bob Mac Tarpley, 77, of Gurdon died Tuesday, March 10, 1998.

Mr. Tarpley was retired from Arkansas Power and Light. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and a Pearl Harbor survivor. Mr. Tarpley was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Gurdon.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Lowe Tarpley of Gurdon; two sons, Eddie and wife, Debbie Tarpley, granddaughter, Heather Cook of Hot Springs, Billy and wife Sally Tarpley, grandchildren J.T. and Natalie of Gurdon; a daughter, Judy and husband Cleve Barfield and granddaughters Jana and Rebecca of Prescott; a brother, Wallace Tarpley of Little Rock; and a sister, Balma Blanton of Gurdon.

Services were held Thursday, March 12, at the First United Presbyterian Church in Gurdon. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery near Okolona by Horne Funeral Home in Gurdon.
