Book Drive Scheduled By GMSPublished Wednesday, March 18, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesThe Gurdon Middle School will have a book donation drive March 16 through 20. Parents are encouraged to look through their closets, bookshelves and, yes, under those beds, for any children's books that they may have already read and would like to donate to the GMS reading classes. The grade that donates the most books will receive free time. Labeled boxes will be placed in front of the trophy case. School children are encouraged to tell their parents and neighbors to join in and help support the students at Gurdon Middle School. If you have any questions, call Debbie Davies at 353-4311 or 353-4634. The boxes will be available from 7:45 to 3:15 Monday through Friday.
