Officers Elected

The DeGray (Clark County) chapter of the Arkansas Sate Employees Association (A.S.E.A.) has elected new officers.

They are Gerald Hatley of Gurdon, an employee of the Department of Human Services, president, Cindy Humphries of Arkadelphia, an employee of the Health Department, vice president, and Ann Norton of Delight, an employee of the Department of Human Services, secretary-treasurer.

Hatley will organize chapter meetings and local lobbying efforts and attend quarterly board of director meetings and the annual convention.

Humphries will supervise membership services for the chapter.

Norton will record minutes of all meetings, keep financial records and handle chapter correspondence.

In addition to the officers, board members are Alice Poarch, Charlene Nelson and Ester Ferrell. They are all residents of Arkadelphia.

A.S.E.A. is a nonprofit organi-zation working to improve state government and state employment. It has 77 local chapters in Arkansas.
