Fair Hills EHCPublished Wednesday, March 25, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe monthly meeting of the Fair Hills Extension Homemakers Club was held March 16 at Helen Harrison's home. The meeting was called to order by Glenda Stuart, the club president. The Club Collect was given by Helen Harrison. Mary Lou Grimes gave an inspirational thought and also introduced the two guests, Ruby Wicker and Ann Loe. Roll call was answered by each person giving their favorite thing about spring. The minutes from last months meeting and the treasurer's report were read by Joyce Tyree. The beautiful quilt that was made by members of the Nevada County Extension Clubs was shown. It will be given away at a drawing at the County Extensions Spring Council meeting. Glenda Stuart gave a very good demonstration on 'Storage Surprise.' Helen Harrison, who was assisted by Corine Brown, served delicious cake, nuts, coffee and Coke to the nine members and two guests present. Nancy Smith will be in charge of next month's meeting.
