Photo Shoot Set For Fair Contestant Girls

Contestants for Clark County Fair Queen, Little Miss and the talent portions of the 1999 Clark County Fair pageant should meet at Arkansas Hall on the Henderson State University campus Thursday, September 2, at 5:00 p.m. for publicity photographs. The fair pageant will be held September 13.

Application deadline for the talent contest and the Little Miss competition is Tuesday, August 31. Entry forms may be picked up at the Clark County Extension office at 5th and Clay Streets.

Applicants for the talent contest must be six to 20 years old and residents of Clark County. Acts may be vocal, instrumental, dance, drama, comedy or variety. Try-outs are scheduled for August 31 at 4:30 p.m. at Peake Elementary School.

The Little Miss contest is open to girls from 3 to 5 years old. The entry form, a $15 entry fee and a small picture must be turned in to the Extension office by August 31. All Little Miss contestants will receive a trophy.
