Published Wednesday, March 25, 1998 in the Nevada County Picayune

On March 17, twelve members of the Rainbow Garden Club attended the annual daffodil tea in the home of Pat Milam. The co-hostess was Dorothy Grimes.

Others present were Kathleen Trammel, Eva Jones, Helen Harrison, Dorothy Ward, Virginia Easterling, Myrna Hunter, Faye Andrews, Jean Biddle, Mariam Purtle and LaWanna Plyler.

Helen Harrison presided at a short business session. Reports were given by the secretary, treasurer and other committee chairwomen. As an ongoing projects, books of interest to people who love flowers and gardening are presented to the library honoring each member of the club. The ones to be presented soon are to be in honor of Kathleen Trammel, Eva Jones, Faye Andrews, and Myrna Hunter.

Tentative plans were made for a trip to DeGray State Park on the club's next meeting day.

Many different varieties of daffodils were brought by the members.

The hostesses served delicious refreshments.
