Ione Wilson

Ione Wilson, 74, of Blevins died Saturday, March 21, 1998, at St. Michael Health Care Center in Texarkana.

Mrs. Wilson was born November 4, 1923, in Blevins to Thomas and Berta Sheffield Davis. She was a retired seamstress and homemaker and a member of Bruce Memorial United Methodist Church in Blev-ins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lendo Wilson, who died in 1977, and one daughter, Brenda Smith, and one sister, Marie Stringer.

Survivors include three daughters, Nova Lynn Bright and husband Charles of Greenville, Texas, Janie Cauley and husband Pat of Birmingham, Ala., and Jackie Taylor and husband Bobby Taylor of Blevins; one son-in-law, Harold Smith of Murfreesboro; one sister, Ila Bob Cope of North Little Rock; and seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Sunday, March 22, at Bruce Memorial United Methodist Church in Blevins with Rev. Cathy Staton and Rev. Tandy Hason officiating. Burial was in Marlbrook Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
