Preston Seeks JP PostPublished Wednesday, March 25, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneThis week, Rudy Preston of Prescott announced his candidacy for J.P. District 3 in Nevada County. Prior to moving to Prescott, he was the publisher of the Clark County American. Preston attended college in Texas, where he was a business and journalism major. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran. "I believe it's time for new faces and new minds on the Quorum Court," Prescott said in a prepared statement. "There is unfinished business that needs to be finished and some problem areas that need to be addressed. "As a businessman, I have learned to plan and control budgets, so there'll be no wasted county money where my votes are con-cerned on the quorum court."
