Birthday Dates Sought

The Gurdon Band Boosters are taking names for the 2000 Birthday Calender through November 8.

These calenders should be ready for delivery by mid-December. Names are printed in the Gurdon Times and read on Cool Mix 106.9 FM, with a cake and ice cream given out each weekday.

You may contact Maxine Weems at 353-4896 or Vicke Otwell and 353-4316 to get your birthday or anniversary included on the calender.

Take your names and dates to the Forest Festival. The boosters will have a booth there.

Each date placed on the calender costs 50 cents. The calenders will sell for $2.

If you are interested in placing an ad and are not contacted by anyone, call Elizabeth Wilson at 353-2538. Billy Wells will be taking names at Billy's Main Street Florist.
