We were really blessed this week with three good sermons during our revival. Bro. Bowman of Bodcaw was sick on Wednesday night and didn't get to bring the message, but he did render a beautiful solo. Bro. Joe Brown brought the message for him and did a good job. Bro. Daniel Williams brought the message on Thursday night with Jeff and Tara Carlton rendering the special music.

Bro. David Cook of Union brought the message Friday night and I'm sure everyone's heart was truly blessed even though we had no addition to the church, I'm sure seeds were sown that will be harvested later.

Our son, Dwight, and his daughter, Ginger, and her son, Tyler, spent Thursday with us. Tyler spent the night and attended church with us on Thursday night. His grandmother, Belinda McKinnon, picked him up on Friday evening and he spent some time with them. Grands are great, but great grands are greater.

Dub Crank remains in St. Michael Hospital, Leonard Black in Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock and Bud Freeland in St. Vincent in Little Rock. They all still need our prayers.

Charles and Jo Caldwell carried Esther to Dallas this week. Drop by and see Darrell when you have time. I know he is lonely.

Booie Williams and Katherine Rocole were our guests for lunch after church Sunday. Tori came from Magnolia and visited a while Sunday afternoon.

Jeff Taylor had minor surgery in Texarkana on Thursday due to an old injury, but he is now doing fine.

Maxine Luck is due to go to her diabetes doctor and eye doctor in Little Rock this week.

A.B. and Maxine Luck's daughter, Gail, her daughter, Amy, husband and baby of Little Rock were their guests on Saturday. Roscoe and I visited with them a few minutes and got to see Amy's baby. She is beautiful.

Sunday night (fifth Sunday) was singing night at Rosston Church. The youth rendered several specials and so did Dorothy Dixon and Jeff and Tara Carlton. Our hearts were blessed, because we all love singing.

Our church would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped us to purchase new song books. We are grateful to everyone.

Bro. Petie and the Men of Calvary rendered a concert in Homer, La., on Saturday afternoon.

The youth leaders met this afternoon to make summer plans for activities of the church. On May 9, a garage sale, bake sale and car wash will be held at the parsonage carport. Later, on June 9,10 and 11, a trip is planned to Iron Mountain on DeGray Lake, then, in early fall, a trip to Six Flags.
