Can't tell if it's summer or winter, but I'm leaving my blanket on.

Mike McClain from Houston, Texas, spent the weekend with his sister, Billie Ridling, and his mother, Willie McClain, at Hillcrest Care Center. Also visiting Willie was her son-in-law, Jim Swift, from Waco, Texas.

Our daughter-in-law, Betty Meeks Wilson, from Texarkana visited Neil and me on Saturday.

Larry, Marion, Emily and Amanda Byers from Hope visited in our community on Monday night.

Eddie and Betty Hillery really had fun last week entertaining grandkids. Those visiting were Tristan Phillips and Jerad Askew the first part of the week, then they went home and Meghan Askew and Chelsea and Mackenzie Phillips took their turn. They were all from Hope. Betty thanks Cole and Justin Hillery for helping entertain.

Caley and Kyle Pennington spent Tuesday night with their grand-parents, Leola and Bill Lanius, in Sparkman.

We extend our get well wishes to Joy Cox. She fell Sunday and was bruised up pretty badly. She cut her hand real bad, too, when she fell.

Toby and Kim Cottingham honored their little daughter, Shelbi Grace, on her sixth birthday with a party at their home on March 28. They all enjoyed pony rides and Shelbi and three friends enjoyed bowling.

Our sympathy to the family of Noel Harris. Noel was the brother-in-law of Betty Cagle.

A reminder that the Redland School reunion is just around the corner. Mark your calender for the second Sunday in June.

Wayne and Retta Zumwalt from Bentonville spent spring break with his mother, Faye Zumwalt.

Larry, Dana, Zack, Zayne and Zoie went to the zoo in Little Rock on Friday. It was Zoie's first trip to the zoo. She was very excited. Other friends that went also were, Joyce and Kayla Ammons, Susan, Amy and Ben Smith, Dot, Haley, Morgan and Darby, Daniel, Katherine and Kelsey Hopkins (Zack's special friend), and Frank Wood, Kelsey's cousin from Oklahoma, and last, but not least, Kelsey Wren (Zayne's special friend). After the zoo, they ate at Chuck E. Cheese's.
