A group from the Gurdon Senior Adult Center went on a shopping trip to Malvern Friday, March 27.

The monthly birthdays were celebrated on Friday also. Those with birthdays were Winnie Williams, Joe Welch, Monteen Davis, Clemmie Clark, Watson Smith, Nellie Simmons, Elven McBride, Birtie McKin, Gene Barton, Perry McClelland, Joe Plyler, Louise Armstrong, Doris Rogers, Syble Allen, Celia Acrey, Lockie Golden, Allie Trout, Helen Roberts, Allene Horne, Mary McBride, Earl Smithpeters, Sallie Tapps, Arlie Craig, Thelma Mizell, W.S. Richie, Hester Stephens, Marva Williams, Willie E. Jones and Jessie Glover. We wish to thank Piggly Wiggly for the beautiful birthday cake.

There was to have been a 'learn to crochet' class Tuesday, March 31.

We wish to invite all the senior adults in Gurdon to come and join us. Many things are planned for April.

The center is a United Way Agency.
