Gills Tabbed For Top SpotPublished Wednesday, April 1, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesNathan Gills, principal of Cotton Valley (La.) High School and former coach at Springhill (La.) High School, was recently elected by the state's Class A principals to served on the executive committee of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association. Gills, a 1970 graduate of Gurdon High School, is the son of Ida Gills of Gurdon and the late Hartis Gills. He was elected to the Go-Devil Hall of Fame in 1997.
