Green Attends MeetingPublished Wednesday, April 8, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesArkadelphia Human Development Center superintendent Margo Green recently attended the annual conference of the Association of Public Developmental Disabilities Administrators in New Orleans, La. While at the conference Green attended sessions on current legislation, medical ethics, best facility practices and receive updates on federal regulations. The theme this year was "Building Partnerships for the Future." The Association of Public Developmental Disabilities Administrators is a nonprofit professional organization in supporting administrators of public residential programs, as well as other individuals with interests in the field of mental retardation and other developmental disabilities. The association supports continuous improvement of accessible services designed t enhance the quality of life for persons with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities.
