Gov. Appoints Arkadelphia To CommissionPublished Wednesday, April 8, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesGov. Mike Huckabee has appointed Spencer Honey of Arkadelphia director of the state Health Services Commission. Honey is a former administrator of Riverwood Nursing Center in Arkadelphia, Pineview Nursing Home in Gurdon, Hospitality Care Center in Arkadelphia and Rosewood Manor in Hot Springs. He serves at the will of the governor. Honey has been a personnel officer for the Arkadelphia Human Development Center and a district executive for the Ouachita Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He replaces Orson Berry.
