Edith M. SchroederPublished Wednesday, April 8, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesEdith M. Walker Schroeder, 82, of Gurdon died Wednesday, April 1, 1998. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Gurdon. Survivors include two daughters Betty Davyne Hansen of Gurdon and Stella Ann Welch of Adel, Iowa; a son, George Edward Schroeder of Woodstock, Ga.; a foster daughter, Marli J. Meyer of Omaha, Neb.; ten grandchildren, seven great grand- children and four great great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. George Torgerson of Gurdon and Patricia Bahling of Clear Lake, Iowa. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 4, at the First Presbyterian Church in Gurdon. Burial was under the direction of Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon. Interment will be today (Wed-nesday), April 8, in Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City, Iowa, under the direction of Major-Erickson Funeral Home of Mason City, Iowa.
