James and Glendene Haynie have returned from spending several days with their son and brother, Doug Haynie, and his family in Rogers. They also visited a niece, Catherine Haynie Thomas. She is the daughter of the late George and Georgia Haynie. Clark Crellin attended the Arkansas Gideons Convention in Rogers last weekend. He, Myla, Garret and Darby also visited their grandmother, Hazel. Katy Wilson spent Friday night with Lauren Byrd. Nell and Howard McDaniel from Monroe, La., spent the weekend with Jackie and Frances Bidwell. Frances was pleasantly surprised with a early washer and dryer for Mother's Day. Others visiting were grandson Bubba and Alex McDaniel and a friend Willie from Marshall, Texas., Deanie, Kristi, Regan and Tanner Luck of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, and Don and Pat Ingersoll also visited. Justin Barlow spent Friday night with Kyle Pennington. Shawn Bidwell from Colorado Springs, Colo., is visiting his grandparents, Jack and Ruby Bidwell. Make a note of our change of service at Shady Grove Baptist church on Easter Sunday. Sunrise service will be at 7 a.m., then the men will cook breakfast. Regular morning worship will start about 8:30. When services is over about 10:00, all other services will be called off for the day. Hermit and Audrey Nix have returned from a trip in Texas and Louisiana. Neil and I spent Monday in Hot Springs. What else? Seeing doctors. Ronda Hillery is showing signs of abuse and bruises and says a cow did it, but our question is, did Jerry show her who was boss? Surely not.
