McLelland, Ingram Attend Conference

Dawn McLelland and Julia Ingram from Nevada County Farm Bureau were among 140 members, guests and staff who attended Arkansas Farm Bureau Federation's Statewide Women's conference March 24 and 25 in the Embassy Suites Hotel at Little Rock.

The event, organized around the theme of 'Expanding Traditions,' featured opening and closing general sessions and three workshops. They were titled 'When Mama Ain't Happy, Ain't Nobody Happy,' Education 'Political' and 'Farm City.'

In Addition, the gathering heard addresses from Regina Coleman of Holly Grove, Farm Bureau State Women's Committee chairman, and Andrew Whisenhunt of Bradley, Farm Bureau state president, Dennis Robertson, executive vice president and David Hillman, vice president of Arkansas Farm Bureau.
