Ruth A. CookPublished Wednesday, April 15, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneRuth A. Cook, 72, of Prescott died Monday, April 13, 1998, at Beverly Health and Rehab in Prescott. Mrs. Cook was born April 26, 1925, in Nevada County to Jones and Mammie Ellison Garrett. She was a homemaker and a Methodist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Cook, who died in July 1997. Survivors include two brothers, Jones Garrett Jr. of Crandell, Texas, and Kenneth Garrett of Springhill, La.; and three sisters, Rosielee Smith of Crandell, Texas, Sue Strebel of Fayetteville and Evelyn Hollamon of Grand Prairie, Texas. Graveside services will be today, Wednesday, April 15, at DeAnn Cemetery with Rev. Jerry West-moreland officiating.
