Dickson, Miller ToWedPublished Wednesday, April 22, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesDavid and Shelley Dickson of Guayama, Puerto Rico, announce the engagement and forthcoming of marriage of their daughter, Jamie, to Loren Miller, son of Eldon and Audrey Miller of El Dorado. The wedding will be held at 7:00 p.m. on June 6 at First Baptist Church in Gurdon. A reception will be held following the ceremony. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Sue Nelson of Gurdon, Mr. and Mrs. Ferral Nelson of Bluff City and Mr. and Mrs. James Dickson of Black Rock. She is a 1995 graduate of Gurdon High School and attended Central Baptist College in Conway, the University of Arkansas in Little Rock and is currently a nursing student at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. The prospective groom is the grandson of Drucilla Miller and the late Rufus Miller of Augres, Mich., and Mr. and Mrs. Val Miller of Greenwood, Del. He is a 1993 graduate of West Side Christian School in El Dorado. He has attended Rosedale Bible Institute in Irwin, Ohio, and Central Baptist College in Conway. He is currently a psychology major at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. Invitations will not be sent locally. Friends and family are invited to attend.
