Mary Ina SteedPublished Wednesday, April 22, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneMary Ina Steed, 92, of Slidell, La., formerly of Prescott, died Saturday, April 11, 1998, in a Louisiana hospital. Mrs. Steed was born in Laneburg. She was a retired clerk from Wallich Music Store and a member of First Baptist Church in Slidell. Mrs. Steed was preceded in death by her husband, Quitman Steed, in 1986. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Lynn Steed Kimzey of Slidell, three grandchildren and one great grandchildren. Graveside services were held Thursday, April 16, at De Ann Cemetery in Prescott with Rev. Jerry Westmoreland officiating.
