Helping Hands EHCPublished Wednesday, April 22, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Bluff City Helping Hands Extension Homemakers Club met April 9 at the Church of Christ. There were 14 members present. The meeting was called to order by the president, Marguerite Tomlin. Thought of the day was read by Ruth Sullivan. Roll call by Laverne Green, secretary. It was answered with 'My favorite picture.' Most everyone has some special pictures of their children, grandchildren and of course fathers and mothers. Minutes of last month's meeting was read by Laverne Green. Ruth Sullivan gave the treasurer's report. The Easter bunny was good to all. All the members were reminded to have their dogs and cats vaccinated this week in one of the rabies clinics in the county. There will be a school May 27 to learn about fair judging. All the members are looking forward to a fun day in Camden. Ruth Bumpus won the door prize. The meeting was adjourned. Everyone then enjoyed potluck.
