North Little Rock Wedding Is Planned

Mr. and Mrs. James Harper of Conway announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Melissa Kaye Harper, to William 'Billy' E. Thomas Jr., son of Joe and Nita McDonald of Prescott and William and Cathy Thomas of Franklin, Mass.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Elder Andrew Issacs and the late Thelma Issacs of Conway and Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Harper also of Conway.

Ms. Harper is a 1993 graduate of Conway High School. She is currently enrolled in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She plans to graduate with a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree in May of 2001.

She is employed part-time at John McClellan Veterans Hospital in Little Rock.

Mr. Thomas is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Messer of Hope and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thomas of Hope.

The prospective groom is a 1991 graduate of Prescott High School. He received an associates of arts degree from Central Baptist College in Conway and completed his education at the University of Central Arkansas with a bachelor of science degree in biology.

He is currently employed with American Interplex Corporation in Little Rock.

Fuller Chapel of North Little Rock will be the setting for the couple's 2:00 p.m. wedding July 11.
