Cholie Mae ThomasPublished Wednesday, April 29, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneCholie Mae (Ellis) Thomas, 71, of Delight died Friday, April 24, 1998, at a Murfreesboro hospital. Mrs. Thomas was born June 28, 1926, in the Corinth community near Nashville. She was the daughter of the late Lee Floyd and Gladys Huddleston Ellis. She was a homemaker and farmer and a member of Antoine Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dolphin W. Thomas, who died June 12, 1995; and three brothers. Survivors include three sons, James D. Thomas, Lee W. Thomas and John E. Thomas all of Delight; one daughter, Connie Woodson of Ardmore, Okla.; 11 grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and a number of nephews and nieces. Funeral services were Monday, April 27, with B.B. Harding officiating. Burial was in Antoine Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville.
