Everett Orren and Billy House visited their Uncle Fate House and wife Elizabeth of Powderly, Texas, Monday. We are sorry to lose Rosa Belle Orren from our community. She has moved to the Martin Apartments in Prescott. Debbie and Mack Morgan of Houston, Texas, attended the funeral of his mother here Friday and spent some time with her mother, Rosa Bell Orren, and sister, Peggy Dougan. Donnie Surles of Rogen, Colo., Misty Jones and Tasha Shurden visited Mae Blount Saturday afternoon. Doris Page had surgery at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Little Rock Thursday. Wanda Mouser and her daughter, Audrey Cresmon, of Memphis visited Katie Pittman and Sue Austin Sunday. Those visiting Chloe Orren last week other than her son and daughter-in-law were Shorty and Huey Garner and Ann Oliver. Carol Johnson of North Little Rock is spending this week with Mildred Johnson. Billy and Diane Blankenship of Ashdown had supper with Annie Mae Hooks Friday night. Billy did a little work in Annie Mae's garden. Kay and Kelsey Wren spent Saturday night with Doris Ridgell. Theresa and Courtney Jackson spent the weekend with Breanna Young of Hope. We got an inch of rain Sunday night for which we are so thankful.
