Art League To Meet May 5

The newly formed Artesian Arts League will hold its first annual membership meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, upstairs over City Hall.

The league will present its by-laws and the board of directors.

The purpose of the league will be to promote the development and advancement of the arts by generating opportunities for the instruction, performance and enjoyment of the arts now and for future generations.

The membership is open for participation by all citizens without exception and is organized as a non-profit organization for cultural, charitable, civic and educational purposes for the southwest Arkansas area.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Artesian Arts League, go to the meeting May 5.
