Blanton Is FinalistPublished Wednesday, April 29, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesAshley Blanton, a native of Gur-don, recently participated as a finalist in the Lillith Fair Tour. She was a chosen a runner-up. The winner will be the opening act for the 1998 Lillith Fair Tour. The tour features female stars, including Sherryl Crow, Jewel, Sarah McLaughlin, The Iindigo Girls, Mary Chappin Carpenter, Emmylou Harris, Paula Cole and others.
