4-H'ers Honored

Area 4-H Club members were recognized for their efforts with a banquet Friday night, April 24.

Members of the various clubs spoke of their experiences during the past year, and how being in the 4-H Club has enriched their lives.

Awards were presented to the young people for the work they did in different areas of 4- H.

Josh Reeves was the medal winner for intermediate swine.

Beginning trophy and medal winners were: Robyn LeMay, entomology; Bobbie Jean Crouse, fitness leadership; Molly May, food and nutrition; Abby Brumley, gardening and horticulture; Elizabeth Ezell, home environment; Ashli Helms, horse science; Charlie Crouse, poultry science; and Justin Hernandez, swine.

The intermediate winners, those 13-15, were: Emily Brumley, arts and humanities; Trey Burchfield, fitness leadership; Leigh Helms, horse science; Ashley Webb, swine; and Justin Gibson, wood science.

Derek Helms was the advanced winner for dairy.

The 4-H promotion month club winner was the Hilltop 4-H Club, with sponsor Vicky Lynn accepting the plaque.

Three were named outstanding 4-H'ers and received plaques. They were Molly May for the beginners, Ashley Webb as the intermediate, and Derek Helms as advanced winner.
