Appointments may be made by calling 353-4001. All children entering kindergarten are required by Arkansas state law to have a physical before entering school. A 10-year class reunion is being planned for June 6. The cost will be $30 a couple or $15 for an individual. Those planning to attend are urged to get their money in as soon as possible. The Little Rock VA medical Center will hold a Mobile Health Screening Clinic on May 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Clark County Extension Service Building 423 Clay Street in Arkadelphia. Randy and Riche Clark are proud to announce the birth of their son, Garrett Duncan Clark. He was born Feb. 10, 1998, at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, weighing 8 pounds and 8 ounces. His grandparents are Roger Bruce and Ann Clark of Okolona and Richard Tompkins and Judy Tompkins, both of Hope. Great grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Smithpeters of Okolona and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Tompkins of Hope. Garrett was welcomed home by big sister, Melanie. The descendants of Jesse and Mary Toland and Will and Nora Toland will meet for their annual reunion on May 17 at the White Oak Lake. Potluck lunch at noon. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. There will be a Blue Grass gospel music concert May 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, 11th and Walnut Street in Arkadelphia. Information is being sought on the time of death of Louisa R. Denson is believed to have died in 1927 or 1928. She had relatives living in the Billstown community, Whelen Springs and East Whelen. She is buried in Bethlehem (Beech) Cemetery. Her death was not recorded with the Arkansas Department of Health, according to Mrs. Hugh G. Taylor, P.O. Box 751, Pawhuska, Okla. Mrs. Taylor is her great granddaughter. If you have any information, write her. Arkansas Rehabilitations Services will be in Gurdon May 28 at the Municipal Building from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Alcoholics Anonymous meets on Wednesdays and Sundays at 8:00 p.m. at the American Legion building, Highway 67 North, one mile out of Gurdon.
