Ervin Bernard JeffersonPublished Wednesday, October 20, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneErvin Bernard Jefferson died Tues., Oct. 5, 1999, at U.A.M.S., Little Rock. Mr. Jefferson was born April 1, 1960, to Joseph and Charlene Box Jefferson. He obeyed the gospel at an early age at the Rosston Road Church of Christ. Later he moved to Dallas, Texas, attending Gaza Street Church of Christ. Upon returning to Camden one of his pride work was the Westside Church of Christ sanctuary, which he was the architect and builder. He was instrumental in helping start the Southview Church of Christ in Magnolia. He graduated from Oak Grove School in 1978. He went to Job Corps at Hot Springs where he completed courses in architect and carpentry, after which he became self-employed. Survivors are parents, Joseph and Charlene Jefferson of Chidester; one daughter, LaPorche Wheatly of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Loretta (Lamanuel) Bivens of Camden and Vivian (Michael) Belcher of Enid, Okla.; two brothers, Joe Nathan Jefferson of Dallas and Jeffers Willis (Dell Nita) Jefferson of Magnolia; his grandfather, Tempers Jefferson of Camden; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services were Sat., Oct. 9 at Westside Church of Christ with Bro. Leo Holleman officiating. Burial was in White Church Cemetery in Rosston.
