The bride-elect was honored with a bridal shower by her sisters, Maggie and Angela Hopkins, at the home of the groom. The couple received many beautiful and useful gifts.

Miss Kirkham was also honored with a shower at Central Baptist Church. The many gifts were opened and a delightful evening was enjoyed by all the guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Billy Don Peters hosted the rehearsal supper in the fellowship hall on Thursday before the wedding.

Mrs. Maude Henton and Mrs. Judy Martin catered the supper and reception. Everything was beautifully done.

The wedding was under the direction of Mrs. Judy Martin.
