New Officers Elected By Emmet PTAPublished Wednesday, May 6, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Emmet School PTA met on Tuesday, April 28, for its last meeting during the 1997-98 school year. New officers for 1998-99 were elected. They are: president, Karen Gutierrez; vice president, Anita Allen; secretary, Pam Elliott; treasury, Dianne Halliwill; and reporter, Vicki Simmons. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
